Can the 787-10 really replace the 77W? That is a big difference in lift. Too bad LATAM didn't keep the A350 order, I believe they had A35Ks on order, which would have been a perfect replacement.. I think they will order some more 787s but probably keep the 77Ws until they decide on a proper replace...

Varig also used its 747 fleet for the notorious GIG-GRU-JNB-BKK-HKG back in the days.

I heard somewhere LatAm is planning to reinstate GRU-LAX service with own metal. Last time route was flown was with AA pre-pandemic after a long hiatus since KE and JL ended up the leg after 9/11. Can anyone confirm? If true, this will be the return of a Brazilian airline with direct services to LAX...

Yes it was. Same period when DL flew JFK-GRU with the A333.

BTW DL is now double daily ATL-GRU. Haven't seen it announced but it is running for some time now. Both services with A333.

I heard that motorhomes rental in Doha are booming for a while since hotel rates skyrocketed as well. Add to this the ability to move by yourself from stadium A to B with no airport waiting times and usual annoying and voilá!
