It makes perfect sense for Textron/Cessna. Since they halted further development of the Hemisphere, the Challenger 650 can fill it's role. From where are you originating? If you're on the east coast you can fly B6 to JFK or BOS then you'll be guaranteed an A330 on JFK/BOS-HNL. Chicago. I too remember reading ETOPS would take 12 mos minimum. Not going to miss this first flight. What does ETOPS certification entail and why does it take 12 months? I don't know the answer.
