I avoid PHL for connections at all costs. It seems to me to be the most delay prone airport outside of NY (also airports to be avoided, though Newark isn't quite as bad). Boston is a comparably sized airport that doesn't seem to have near as many problems as Philly. Can someone here please explain ...

Coincidentally PHL-OSL, ARN, MXP, BHX, EDI, BRU were all former US routes with most ended by US and the last two by AA. If anything there has already been rumors about JFK-EDI moving back to PHL-EDI. I could potentially see BRU coming back, maybe MXP. I do not expect OSL, ARN, HEL, TXL, or DUS.

El Al does not exist to serve populations of "Jews." I'd bet most of their U.S. originating traffic is probably Christians going on vacation. Philadelphia-Tel Aviv is not a large local market. It was artificially inflated by US Airways entering the market, and is not a market service gap....

The A333's are going in a few years max so why is that a point? AA/BA will have to figure something out and chances are it will be the AA low J 772's. I was at PHL for a few hours yesterday and today. Some cross fleeting would be nice to see. Right now the only cross fleeting is from Republic with the 175s.
