Are there any maps to show this parcel? Apparently, you have to be a subscriber. As we know, PHL is restricted to the south by the fuel docks/Delaware River. I thought the area north of the terminals (and to the south) is part of the wetlands that are also protected, causing impeding of further air...

El Al does not exist to serve populations of "Jews." I'd bet most of their U.S. originating traffic is probably Christians going on vacation. Philadelphia-Tel Aviv is not a large local market. It was artificially inflated by US Airways entering the market, and is not a market service gap....

BOS-Asia is a much larger local market than PHL-Asia. Even being a OW hub there's a reason PHL doesn't have non-stop passenger service to Asia. Please share your source that claims PHL is larger. I did not realize it, but it looks like LGA-ORD-LGA is already pretty much a shuttle operation with virtually all 738's and hourly service, save for 1 or 2 two hour gaps. So this is more of a service enhancement than a schedule enhancement.

I don't see what's wrong with keeping a few 767-300ERs in the fleet until the 787-9 are delivered (Dispite the small numbers), quite a few of them are around 13 years of age. The Marriott/Starwood hotel(s) in STT are not taking reservations through at least May. I imagine there are several other resorts in the same boat. So it is hard to imagine there is demand for more than a handful of flights to the US.

BOS is not exactly in the top 5 cities I think of as a connection point when I want to get to Hawaii. Pretty much back tracking on every route making it a 12-15 hour journey to Hawaii

At this point these are really just swapping out. There is a brief overlap where both PHL-SFO/LAX operate with a 330, but at this point in the schedule PHL-SFO becomes PHL-LAX.
