The Surveillance Dash 7 could use some brightening up.
Westjet looks very flat and soft. The overcast sky doesn't help this one.

Re: Pre Screen Feedback Please

Hi Chris,

The Ethihad still feels soft...perhaps it is the lighting. I softness in the main titles, nose, nose gear. The rear of the aircraft looks fine.
The SQ is marginal. The nose has blown highlights and also look blurry to me.

Re: Pre-Screening Feedback

I agree with Mikhail re. the motive rejection for the AC B787. The aircraft is also not centered properly. Better to center between the two engines. Also looks like there is room at the bottom of the frame to lower the placement and thereby include the entire tail. QR A350: The overhead lighting is ...

Will draw a motive rejection for the obstructed landing gear (>50%) and also for the clipped horizontal stabilizer. From what I can tell, the image is soft and shows noise even at the small size that shows on the link.

I would use the fastest shutter speed possible to avoid any kind of camera shake, which is one cause of blur. Another cause of blur could be the sharpness characteristics of the lens itself. The 3rd issue would be a focusing issue. If you have an alternate lens, you might see if the image quality is...

The last one does not appear blurry to me. However it is underexposed due to the unsuitable angle of light (overhead). Also, it will draw a "Motive" rejection due to the obstruction by the stairs.

The Allegiant looks to me like it could use more contrast. Not the best lighting, but some added contrast might help.
DL 965AT looks blurry in the nose area.
DL995AT: Again not the best of lighting. I think a boost to the exposure and contrast would help.

#1. Agree with Crosswindphoto's comments re. the crop. Better to crop right behind the engine. Also mage is over exposed and needs more contrast.
#2. Lighting is indeed harsh. Image could do with reduced brightness and increased contrast. Looks soft. Also looks low in the frame.
