Possibly some UK routes? I know there is expected to be a travel corridor between the UK and USA, so wouldn't be too surprised to see some new routes there. My other guess would be extra Carribbean flying.

According to the Delta booking engine they are to resume their BOS-EDI route from the 27th of May 2021 for the S21 season. Flights will be 4x weekly on B767-300ER.

As you say though, that's a huge increase in capacity jumping up from a 757 to at 787. Things can change very quickly in the climate we're now in, so it wouldn't be a surprise if there were any other changes. On a positive note, if it does happen, it will be nice to see another wide-body at EDI. :a...

I do realise that, again that's why I said, this could all change at any moment. We are in uncertain times and EDI is handling only a few flights a day which is expected. I just hope we see some sort of recovery over the next few years.

American’s using the 787-8 because they retired the 757, while both Delta and United tentatively still have theirs. Okay, It did say further changes are likely so either it may be changed to a 757 or the 767 service will be extended. Anyway it's good to see the 767 again if only for a week and a bit.

According to the Aer Lingus website it seems they will be nightstopping/basing an aircraft at EDI for S20. They will be basing/nightstopping an ATR72 from Mon-Fri. If it was a goldmine, Virgin would be flying it surely? A GLA/EDI split would have minimal additional costs, indeed the A332 would be ideal. Even YYZ is peak summer only whereas GLA has Transat year round. With TS and Rouge merging, capacity should consolidate in some form? I see where you're comin...

Was said elsewhere that a new longhaul route will be announced from EDI this week, I have heard WestJet will be the route but there is plenty of other airlines it could be too.

Any guesses?

Transavia are moving forward the launch date of Rotterdam, the launch date is now on the 27th of February instead of the 2nd of April.

27th February - 2x weekly
