IAG have signed a letter of intent for 200 B737 Max and some will be destined for BA, good news for Boeing and IAG.

No it will be beside it, in the same place as the old drop off but it has a small expansion into the terminal surface parking area as well.

The new drop of area is just in front of the terminal building and is replacing the old drop off it has number plate recognition as part of the upgrade.

Regarding where i was asked and by who was on another forum by users and i got a pm from a few people too, so i shared it here.

Yes this is the Emirates flight, and Glasgow has seen a decrease on the Dubai flights. I heard Qatar were also getting high load factors in the 70-80% region.

No source at present but looking at fleet details and where aircraft are based Newcastle and Aberdeen have slack schedules, and Edinburgh and Glasgow are main bases so will likely see something too.

Yeah, but there is some slack in the fleet so plenty of aircraft to operate the routes, I also think Newcastle and Aberdeen may see some new routes and maybe Edinburgh and Glasgow too.

In other news Loganair started their new flights to Bergen and Stavanger this week with Guernsey starting tommorow, services are operated on E135/145. There was a water arch and cake to celebrate as well.

Hainan have now reopened booking from 1st of September to Beijing and Dublin as this was previously reported to be ending on that day.

Well it seems that there is plenty of new routes today already with:
·Pegasus adding Bodrum to Kiev 3x weekly
·Air China will use A330-300 all summer to Athens instead of a mix of 200/300.

Well already confirmed is Inverness to go up to 3x daily excluding saturdays for the summer and S7 will operate a weekly scheduled charter service to Dalaman from Moscow.

I see EDI and GLA, possibly MAN as well if it was a Europe anouncement, EDI just lost Norwegian so there is a gap to fill, GLA has no year round American service and Manchester would be good if Jetblue and Easyjet could codeshare.

If it were to start I believe Cathay would do really well on the A350-900, not to many seats and at 3-4x weekly plenty of demand will be there.

No it was only winter reductions, as it is due to go back up to 2x weekly each way making 4x weekly in the summer, And summer is scheduled to be a B787-9.

I was in lanzarote about a week ago and a Binter Canarias ATR76 was thrust reversing out of a parking spot, I thought this was against health and safety regulations?

Ba Cityflyer also have increased Edinburgh to Florence by adding a second weekly rotation on Saturdays operated by E190.
