TIP: FAs and pilots are the most unreliable when it comes to rumors. I honestly don’t know where they get their info. Sometimes it seems completely made up based off of nothing.

I think people are confusing the programs.

I’m left leaning but SCASD isn’t needed. Cities the size of Boise or Spokane for example do not need federal dollars for this. If their local community wants to subsidize routes - so be it. But they shouldn’t be seeking federal assistance.

I find it interesting that VX - the best airline ever - did not have lie flat seats. But the expectation is that AS should have lie flat. VX seats were better than AS F, but with only 8 seats and if I recall no real upgrade opportunities for elites they were a rather strange middle of the pack offer...
