Re: Indianapolis Aviation Thread - 2021

I don't really see any indication that DL would Institute service boosts to those locations you listed, given their strategy recently. Through May of this year, DL was hardly larger than UA in IND in terms of market share.....not really competitive at all. Delta was also blocking middle seats until...

Took the IND-CDG flight on 7/11 and it was only about 50% full in economy. Purser greeted us in the boarding area before boarding welcoming us to the "new" flight and encouraged everyone to tell their friends about the flight to keep it going. Delta One went out full. Does anyone know if t...

Are there any plans to convert more gates to mainline (either in H or L) or G gates to be able to accommodate larger RJs in the future?

Booked on the IND-CDG flight in July! Was cheaper to drive to IND and fly out then fly out of ATL, plus gives me a few days with family on either side of the trip.

Re: How big can SWA get in ATL

I fly out of Atlanta 99% of the time, 98% of the time DL beats SW by $20-$500, if you don’t check an bag in. Sometime even checking 2 bags in DL I am still saving compared to SW. Also SW don’t fly out of ATL to major city’s as often as DL. So it kinda hard to grow for SW in Atlanta. Every city I ha...

Re: DL in ATL 4/19

I’m on the north side too and didn’t realize we had tornado warnings. They moved through quickly and just wondered why the all day delays. Didn’t know if it was DL’s reliance on routing everything through ATL, but it seems to be an east coast issue this time Delta has ~3,800 flights a day that don'...

DL in ATL 4/19

Anyone else encountered lengthy delays (5+ hours) in ATL today? We had some thunderstorms move through early this morning and rain off and on all day, but does that warrant the delays we’re still dealing with at ATL?

Re: Indianapolis Aviation Thread - 2018

I flew out of IND on Christmas Day and walked around the terminal with extra time. I know I've read this on here before, but wanted to bring it up again.
