This is in addition to the $ 2 million granted by the city of Portland for landside improvements such as signage and sidewalks. Re: The Rest of New England (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN) - 2018

F9 is extending PWM-MCO through February. 4x weekly (Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat) Much more reasonable schedule for the winter, no midnight arrival at MCO

MCO-PWM
11:00 - 14:00

PWM-MCO
14:50 - 18:10

no new winter routes from PWM announced yet.

Frontier really needs to release their holiday / winter schedule ASAP. Go on their social media pages and all you'll see are customers begging for a schedule extension. They'll really be shooting themselves in the foot if they don't extend their schedule very soon.

Re: The Rest of New England (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN) - 2018ages

For years, Fedex had the L.L. Bean shipping contract. PWM always had at least two FX aircraft on the ramp to support this. One flight to EWR, and one flight to MEM, and sometimes an add on to either of these, or BOS. UPS got the contract about eight years ago. That's when FX reduced capacity and on...

For example, the upcoming PWM/SYR-MCO flights are being flown on the A321. It can only happen if WN takes flights from MHT and gives them to PWM. LF first 2 months this year: MHT 81+%, PWM 79+%

With F9 serving PWM, and much stronger US3 mainline presence in the summer..I think 2018 will see Portland bump Manchester as far as annual pax.

Has seasonal PWM - Montreal ever been tried? Old Orchard might well be the #1 summer vacation destination for Quebecoi, and I thought it was odd that Elite chose Halifax over Montreal when they decided to expand into Canada.

And finally, I think you will also see additional flights from NorthEast as JFK looses slot restriction and possible added service to airports like PVD/BUF/SWF/ROC/PWM/ISP. Realistically most of these adds will face a lot of pressure from WN, but there is certainly a path to another 30 to 40 flight...
