Rumor has it Flynas is buying troubled Pakistani carrier Shaheen Air, which is currently only allowed to operate Haj flights, previous routes included Kuwait, 4 points in UAE, one each in Oman and China, prior to that Qatar, one point in Iran and Malaysia were served too.

EK request to fly A380 to Islamabad is said to be under review by CAA Pakistan. Earlier it was reported once weekly operation was approved till August and further talks will be held for the four weekly sought, EK also said they want to fly it daily.

EK want to fly A380 Islamabad daily. Isn't ISB a protected airport where the PAK government has controlled the ME3 expansion? If so, I would keep the A380 out. PK does a decent job of connecting ISB nonstop to EU. Also the A380 is not that great. It is a pain to board and deplane, be it in J or Y. ...

None were leased from Jordan, some stopped over in Amman on way back to lessor and two A319 are sub-leased to Royal Jordanian, three A320 and all six A319 have left fleet.
