Re: United Airlines "Evolution" to Globe Livery coming in April

Hey! I tried adding the billboard titles here - looks better than I expected! I also thought it would be a pretty nice idea to name each of their aircraft after something inspirational :-) https://i.imgur.com/joMptdT.jpg If you're not already in design work, you should be. What a gorgeous rendition...

Re: Does Ryanair need a new livery?

What is the difference between their current livery, and the one posted on the OP? The yellow cheatline seems brighter, but that's all. It's subtle changes, but the cheat line is lower and follows a different curve, the winglets also have a different design, and the angel is larger and more aligned...

Does Ryanair need a new livery?

It's been around for a while now - it's not the worst, but could maybe do with a modern twist, here's my idea :-)

Re: United Airlines "Evolution" to Globe Livery coming in April

Maybe something more like this would be good? Keeps the grey under the belly so it's not just fully eurowhite ;-) :D :D :D https://i.imgur.com/czAL0wg.jpg It could also be good to cut the globe as I did here - I find it was quite an awkward shape when some was visible behind the tail That is actual...

Re: G-TCVC 'Monarch Cook'

I'd imagine a mix of both, according to planespotters.net, the frame joined Thomas Cook's fleet at the middle of March, right before the peak summer season. Combine this with a need to do some internal re-branding and standardization (from a crew and passenger perspective) and there would have been...

G-TCVC 'Monarch Cook'

Hi, I love the 'Monarch Cook' hybrid livery on G-TCVC and I know at least one other aircraft - link to image below: I was wondering why Thomas Cook decided to adopt this mixed livery to begin with - presumably cost or time constraints? and how long do people think they will remain like this before b...

Re: Manchester Airport Old House

Ahh brilliant thanks! So it's not been used as a house for some time then. No, it hasn't been used as a house for a long time. I started working for Manchester Airport in January 1981 and by then it was being used as offices. The Airport Director at that time was a man called Gordon Sweetapple (wha...

Manchester Airport Old House

Hi, While driving around Manchester Airport I noticed a small detached house literally right under a road overpass. Does anyone know why it's still there, or what it's used for? It should appear on this link for the google maps street view: https://www.google.com/maps/@53.3631949,-2.2706475,3a,37.5y...

Ryanair Livery - What would you change?

So the current livery is a variation of a design which has been in use since at least the 1990s - if you could change the livery, would you? if so, what would you do?

Intrigued to see the replies!
