Re: STL air service discussion - 2018

Firstly, half of the employees are gagged about privatization. They can't and won't talk about it. Also, the privatization discussions will have NO impact on air service. Absolutely none. The only time we would see an impact is post-privatization. If you're going to make things up, I would encourag...

Indeed. I think we're the largest US market not connected to LHR at this point.

Yes, definitely. Whether it’s BA, Norwegian, or another airline, STL needs a direct to LHR!

I really doubt that it will be Allegiant. Allegiant has been doing very well at BLV. I’m assuming it will be Spirit or JetBlue.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to try to stop by sometime to watch it take off or land. Also, a new PFC is out. Nothing too exciting (snow equipment) and some rework to T1 pickups and baggage. Hopefully it helps baggage times from the plane to the claim. https://www.flystl.com/uploads/documents...

I believe they are having issues with their 737 fleet, most routes are being replaced by the 767 for the time being

Yeah that might be the case. Somebody I was talking to just said that more 767s will be coming in from Swift.

I could see JetBlue doing well in STL especially for a JFK flight, as we currently don’t have one there nonstop. That could then lead to flights to Europe through codeshares.
