I’m not sure what Terminal they will operate out of but I know that they want it to be bigger than their operation at both ORD and IAH. They are going to try to get as many gates as possible. This would be the perfect opportunity for international airlines to take advantage of AAs issue especially at a place like DFW. AA doesn't have the wide bodies to respond to every new destination that could be added from their competitors.

What's the logic behind only having your schedule bookable through basically theend of February (3/06), when it is almost November? I know WN has done this during certain periods in the past, but it wasn't the norm. I'm not sure how it benefits F9 to be so far behind their peers in schedule release...

AA will be swapping 7 of their gates at E for 7 at F. They will have a total of 14 gates at F which will leave one common use gate there.

Still, F is just a glorified satellite of E.

I don't see any future terminals being built at DFW without AA's sticky hands all over it. DFW might (and probably will expand with "F" and other terminals down the line) but it will all be for AA and no other airlines unless someone grows a pair and tries to take on AA there.

Yeah....DL has adjusted the route profiles of the A320s over the past year or so, Right now some of the longest A320 routes include SEA-ORD SEA-DFW SEA-MCI SLC-ORD SLC-DFW DTW-DFW MSP-BDL Otherwise there are a lot of sub-1000 mile, sub-500 mile route stuff that was a lot of previous MD88/MD90 stuff...
