Every day Icelandair and WOW Air are using widebodies B 767 and A 333 from KEF to Amsterdam and back - sometimes even twice daily. Seems there is a big need and they can fill up their aircrafts. So where is the competition of KLM? Why do they leave this route completely to the Icelandic carriers? Do...Jump to post
The reason for the power failure is a faulty insulation on a copper cable, reported the airport on Monday afternoon. This damage resulted in a violent short circuit that included numerous adjacent cables. The short circuit resulted in the power supply of the cogeneration plant of the airport. https:...Jump to post
Guys why can‘t you simply accept that even an A 321 neo nowadays can do KEF-LAX, KEF-SFO and KEF-MIA nonstop with ANY problems? WOW Air demonstrated it ...without any fuss. They simply flew. How much more efficient will still be the A 321 LR then? Long range in a narrow body- the travel „comfort“ of...Jump to post

Whats the matter with LH 415 A 330 D-AIKC, originally scheduled für IAD-MUC. But it was diverted to YYT (St. Johns) and now it is shown as diverted to DUB instead of MUC.
Any reason? Current it is flying also a very northern Course....
Boooooring.... From a tourist's point of view (to whom this airline caters primarily), Tahiti is vivid colors, such as the light blue of the water in a lagoon. This dark shade of blue, and a flower that my 5-year old could have drawn better, reminds me of, well, yes, as others have said, Lufthansa ...Jump to post
TF-DOG, the 12th A 321-200 of WOW Air, was delivered yesterday from Hamburg to Keflavik. Their other "pet" TF-CAT was delivered in February this year. WOW AIR now has a fleet of meanwhile 19 airplanes: 12 A 321-200, 2 A320, 1 A320neo, 1 Airbus 321neo and 3 Airbus 330-300. And they are grow...Jump to post

TF-FII is the oldest pax aircraft at 28 years old, been at FI since new.
This flight did happen, they were airborne for around 11 hours. This is hard data, much like the Wizz Air flights from KEF-LAX/SFO with the neo.[/quote]
These Flights were from WOW-Air, not Wizz-Air
If you will excuse me Sir, tastes are necessarily different....so I cannot follow you. For me the new modern state of art livery is indeed especially Fitting to THIS airplane as the most modern one which is in the Lufthansa fleet now. Well done Lufthansa! ^^Jump to post

WOW Air is currently departing for the next "record flight" with their A 321neo TF-SKY: KEF-SFO nonstop!!
6,765 km = 3.652 nm
Why do they still Need the A 321neo LR? Wow Air is just planning another record flight with their "simple" A321neo TF - SKY: KEF-SFO nonstop
Anyhow the wishful thinking of a.netters goes, the A321neo will have been significantly limited. By looking at Airbus documents I have, probably no more than 100-120 pax. How is that for profitability? Agree it’s all a huge conspiracy by Europe, Airbus and „authorities“ to the detriment of US airli...Jump to post

Today WOW Air's A 320neo - often used on KEF - TLV flights, also is flying westbound KEF-PIT, 2.429nm, so no problem indeed for this plane and their A 321neo, TF-SKY is flying today again KEF-MIA, 3.183 nm, so also no problem. https://www.flightradar24.com/WOW147/104252ba https://www.flightradar24.c...Jump to post
