For an armchair CEO analysis on here with limited data, can I suggest it does not really matter what the actual PDEW numbers are but just look at them in relation to SYD or MEL. PER is about 1/11th of MEL (9%), ADL about 1/9th of MEL (11%), on those numbers to LAX and SFO provided upthread combined....

Probably not qualifying as you cannot simply buy a ticket, but Atlas Air is still flying at least one (maybe more) 744s for charter ops, mainly military I guess. Saw them in BNE a few weeks ago going to GUM I believe

Looks like VA78 was cx last night and the 73G is still at HND, so today’s outbound VA77 got cancelled as well. Not sure if the plane has gone tech or if it is crew related, but not off to a good start.

On the plus side, at least it won’t be that many pax to re-accommodate on other carriers… :duck:
