How on earth is Airbus still able to sell NEO after thousands of backlog ? Really unbelievable.Jump to post
Early indications show airbus will make a big impact at this year's show.Jump to post
3 days left for the show and it has been very quite in terms of rumours. Probably this will be a rather silent airshow compared to the ones in recent years.Jump to post
Another blow to the A330neo ( just kidding )Jump to post
Does anyone have any data about the performance of the terrible teens which are delivered and in service ? How are their dispatch reliabilities ? Any info about fuel consumption especially compared to recent delivered 788s ? What were the concerns when they went through extensive rework and have the...Jump to post
Fingers crossed for 797 :) By the way, I think it is the perfect time to launch the program. Airbus is not at a position to counter this program due to the recent changes at the management level. Do they need to respond to 797 is another topic. Time will tell. Airbus is in a very good position to c...Jump to post

Now it is selling like hot cakes and going for the kill on the A330neo which was supp...Jump to post

Can this aircraft compete with MOM from Boeing ?Jump to post
Firming EK’s 787 order? Its been almost a year since they intented to order 787-10. Why did it so long to firm it ? They firmed the A380s almost immediately. What is taking them so long ? An additional evaluation of their decision ? Does anyone have any info ? Farnborough could be the right place t...Jump to post
Farnborough Airshow will take place July 16-22.
Lets discuss potential orders, firming of mou, loi or options and even rumours.
It looks as if Vistara of India will place a firm order for 6 787s and 4 options. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-06-02/boeing-is-said-to-win-order-from-singapore-air-s-india-affiliate?utm_source=yahoo&utm_medium=bd&utm_campaign=headline&cmpId=yhoo.headline&yptr=yahoo A...Jump to post
If Boeing can somehow sell Dreamliner, I will call it a miracle.

Didn't see this coming...
passenger response has been fantastic. LOL that's definitely not true. Worst plane in ACs fleet comfort wise. How on earth is a very new aircraft worst in an airlines fleet ? Very biased opinion. It could be that it is not as comfortable as promised but to call it worst in a fleet ... really biasedJump to post
What is so special about this aircraft ? Second topic on a specific aircraft.Jump to post
Does anyone know if SAW will receive widebodies and flights beyond the reach of narrowbodies will start ?
If no, then we are gonna have to go all the way to the 3rd airport for this. All Turkish citizens pretty well know it is not possible to do that. Waaay outside the city.
Let me post the last post of this topic : " Since the discussion has gone off topiv this thread will be locked ".
The very famous A.net post )
The Max-10 requires a extra flight attendant. The Max5-200 can be worked by three attendants I believe if they only fill 199 seats of the plane. The FR planes are configured with 197 seats. Above 200 you need a attendant, which would cost Ryanair extra personel. I wouldn't expect the Max-10, unless...Jump to post

What about flying 787-10 and 330NEO together for different missions? Does it make any sense in any way ?Jump to post
Step 1 accomplished for Boeing. Now they will give everything they have to persuade Air Asia X to switch to dreamliner. It will be interesting to watch. If it is very obvious they will keep the Neo order, then why is there a need for a final decision on fleet ? This order is alot more then selling d...Jump to post
More agressive news. After Hawaian order, Boeing managed to sell dreamliners to American and gets A350 cancelled. Next stop : Air Asia although it seems the most difficult to get done out of the 3. If I recall correctly, Air Asia and ALC were the ones who pushed the most for a revised A330 when Airbus was unsure about ...Jump to post
I was in a meeting a few days back with some people very close to ownership of INA. They do confirm that it is almost impossible for INA to be ready by Oct-2018. Obviously official openning date can not be changed easily. They will have to find a reasonable excuse to delay the transfer of operation...Jump to post
For now , it seems there is no competition on narrowbodies. NEO can still outsell MAX even with this backlog.
But there is still competition left for widebodies.
