Re: Car-buying as a life milestone: share your stories

I bought my first brand new car in April 1988. It was a 1988 Ford Tempo GL 4-door. I turned around in the dealership to look at it on the showroom floor. Seconds later, I witnessed two little kids on bikes cross the busy highway in front of the dealership. A car struck them both. The car was doing a...

I've dropped from 245 pounds (111 kg) to 198 pounds (90 kg) in about three months just by watching my eating times and the amount eaten at each meal. The last Enterprise rental I got had 76,000 miles on it. Piece of shit Mitsubishi Outlander. As a rental, it was well-maintained and clean, but it was a Japanese car. I hate everything on Japanese imports from the seating position and seat comfort to the location of wiper and cruise control switches.
