Hi, will be flying out to JFK in march and was just wondering about the LHR 777s. Do any of them have the 3-4-3 layout which the Gatwick birds out or are they still all the 3-3-3 layout. Thank you if anyone knows

Return flight from LGW to DLM in 2009
Surely when booking a flight, you check the connecting time before hand. Did you just not look?
Jump to postWorst: IAD, DEN & YYC

Jump to postQatar Airways is suspending all flights except for cargo/transit starting Wednesday. https://twitter.com/SkyNewsBreak/status/1239243691019120643 What is meant by transit? As in transit passengers?, but considering that's most of their market, surely they're non cancelling that many flights? Someone...

Hi everyone A few days ago I flew DXb-HAN, and while we landed at around 12:30pm, I noticed the return isn’t until 12 hours later. My question is why so long? It won’t land until around 5am Dubai time. If it left earlier, it can make it back on time for the 2-3am EK peak takeoff hours. Is it to giv...
Jump to postOn a flight from LGW to SJO the captain said, It will be a clear flight to San Jose, California. There were a few cabin gasps before he began laughing
Jump to postOnly been to Colorado & Florida.
Connected through Illinois (ORD) and Virginia (IAD) omw to Colorado however.

Honestly EasyJet. They remind me of family holidays going to Turkey as we'd never fly anyone else, I also loved the show airline; so whilst this is very much an unpopular opinion, I'll always have a soft spot for EasyJet.
Jump to postThe Neos flights from MXP to Nanjing & Jinan never made sense to me.

Longest Flown is SQ to SIN
LGW -- DY to EZE
Longest Flown is VS to MCO
Soon will fly BA to SJO

Longest Flown is U2/MT to DLM
Berlin is poorer than West German cities... but it isn't a poverty stricken city. It could at least be served by an AA 767 to PHL and a UA 767 to ORD or IAD. If AA can get BUD and PRG to work, TXL will also work.

Were the LHR-->AMS/BRU services served by the longhaul widebodies inbound from the States or were they stand alone narrowbody planes.
Jump to postAgain off topic, but what is this extra US security check. I took a United flight in april 2017 flying LHR --> IAD --> DEN from T2. I never went through extra security. Just boarded the plane like normal.
Jump to postIt's like the British Airways one. The first 2 or 3 times it's amusing, but then its incredibly annoying.
Jump to postSeattle and Vancouver are three hours apart if no traffic and border crossing delays. I always think this is a fallacy that just brcause an airline serves one city 3 hours away, everyone is going to drive up there to catch a flight. They are two different markets. Airlines do use airports like HGH ...

Jump to post[twoid][/twoid] I presume you mean underserved for is route? British Airways operates the route daily from Gatwick using one of their 777's, but don't believe any other carrier operates there non-stop from London or elsewhere in the UK. Ben I did mean underserved. BA does quite well on daily TPA-LG...

In Germany the Rhein-Ruhr area served primarily by DUS and CGN is the most populous (10 million) and most industrial area, and Berlin is the capital as the biggest single city (3.5 million), but FRA (600 thousand) has the busiest airport. And to top it all off in the German state Northrhein-Westpha...
Jump to postI just don't get the point, it's not as if Muslims aren't able to fly to on conventional airlines. If you're flying BA or VS there will be a Halal meal and you just don't purchase alcohol. Segregation isn't a way forward.
Jump to postTry getting The Irish to purchase a flight without alcohol lol
Jump to postI travel to DLM frequently. It's mainly airbridges however there are bus gates too.
Jump to postWhy are flights from The Americas to BKK very rare, but from Europe they're extremly common?
Jump to postAGP has got to be up there.
But also LGW, i mean BA channels a few connections as well as Norwegian but not many.
Canada or Russia, maybe even Iran because most Europe inbound EK/EY flights fly over as well as transcontinental routes.
Jump to postDoes anybody know how many of the unconfigured B777 BA has at Heathrow. I know they're used on the Nassau/Grand Caymen route, is that it? How many are there, does anybody know?
Jump to postSo travelling within UK/Europe/Asia, all airport departure boards are in order of departure. I arrived in Dulles and was at first confused but saw that the board was layed out in alphabetical order, the same in Denver & OHare. So, is this a strictly American quirk or have other countries adopted...
Jump to postI prefer the buy on board. You're not stuck to eating what they give you, you can choose what you want. And M&S is quite nice food.
Jump to postLooking forward I think medium term longhaul opportunities could be Durban and Harare for non-stop service. I also wonder if Banjul and Cape Verde could be an option for a couple of shorthaul flights per week for holiday traffic. BA have made the return to the Canary Islands so could be an option. ...
