Same can be said for Boeing, Boeing should also only USA parts and not use any from Japan or EU so as to ensure something like that wouldn't affect Boeing in the future.

I think they won't be replacing their 77W anytime soon and the 77X is meant to complement with the other older 777s. The A330s are meant to be replaced by both the A350s and the 787-10 while the 772s by the A350. I think the additional aircraft are meant for expansion.

Since the A350-900ULR is the replacement for the A340 I think SIA will send it to whichever destination that was served by the A340

Could Airbus make a "Europeanized" version of some of its aircraft with no American parts to get around US sanctions? Supposedly Russia is doing this, and their aerospace sector is far smaller and less sophisticated than Europe's. This is what I have asked. No one seems to know the answer...

What are the roles for the 787 in SQ? They already have the A350 to replace their current fleet of A330s as well as their 777-200s. And their order is not small too. Are they gonna be used to open new destinations?
