Yikes. What could they have hit to do that kind of damage? Surely a bird, even a big one, wouldn’t cause that.

The video of the landing from the same profile also shows a no flaps landing. Good thing DEN has long runways!

COS has already renovated the check-in and security screening areas. Gate areas have started to get renovated and I believe should be finished this year. They released some photos of renovated restrooms today. Much nicer than our larger neighbor to the north.

Wow! Was not expecting BWI-COS. I thought the next add was going to be HOU-COS going daily. An east coast destination has been at the top of the airport’s list so good win for the team over there.

Per an article in the Colorado Springs newspaper, Avelo carried over 1200 passengers out of the airport in June. I think that comes out to around 133 passengers per departure.

Just read AA will be moving at DEN. They'll have gates C30, C32, C34, C36 and C38 effective midnight. While I'll miss the very-convenient A gates (bridge > train), I won't complain about AA being next to Root Down, which is my favorite airport restaurant in the country DEN is playing musical chairs...

Been following JonNYC’s coverage of this all day. Definitely could’ve been a bad situation. I did see DL1943 was delayed until this morning so I’m guessing there was an aircraft issue after the RTO. Will be interesting to hear the sequence of events once the tapes are available.

Wasn’t sure if DL was going to respond to SY, especially with them only being 2x weekly. Glad to see this for the summer. Just goes to show the airlines recognize there’s a market in COS but continue to want to funnel as many passengers through DEN as possible.

Just noticed DL added LGA-OKC with a YX E75 but can’t tell when it started. Going up against AA on this route who started it last year. Good for OKC to get more NYC service. Be interesting if UA brings back EWR-OKC now too.
