I would rather pay more at the pump than pay a lot as is and use Russian oil. The United States has plenty of oil reserves and untapped oil to be sustainable on our own oil or our own and the Middle Eastern oil. I don't know what percentage of oil used in the US is Russian though.

I'm just glad my old G37 has decent gas milage, I get in the upper 20s and put 10 gallons in every other week. For me all my driving is to work and back, I am lucky enough to be able to walk everywhere else. Even with 10 gallons of 91 it still sucks, gas is right at $3.80 a gallon where I live.

Depends on how they intend to use it, military wise it is very important in tact. Propaganda wise it can be seen as a symbol of Ukraine so perhaps destroying it would signify Ukraine is falling. I think most likely the plane will survive.
