Will WN add nonstop DSM-PIT? They could , ya know. Oh wait, they COULD add nonstop between any cities they serve.... It is such a hole in the WN network. Yeah, because no one flies it haha. So many holes ion airline networks according to so many holes on here hahaha. Anyway. We'll see..... You’re k...Jump to post
I am currently trying to change my cover photo on my profile from one image to another. Whenever I select the new photo I want from my personal folder, the image will load at 0% and nothing will ever happen. It'll just remain being stuck at 0%. Also, adding my personal web address either doesn't car...Jump to post
Oops... Kas is right and I’m not, my apologies. I forgot you took this through a terminal window and indeed ISO 400 is the usual setting for those type of images. I will also add that it is noticeablly harder to get the lens to focus on the subject beyond the glass, especially if it’s a taxiing airc...Jump to post

Yet another example of social media bringing out the absolute worst of people.
This will unfortunately be even more problematic for UA if these Twitter screenshots make it to the mainstream media.
Again, do we really have to turn this into a DTW pissing match? Or a DL bashing thread? Come on :sarcastic: It’s extremely annoying for some of us who just want to search and read up more information. FSDan, thank you very much for putting this data together along with AA and UA. I am noticing JFK s...Jump to post
Most of the N8xxJB aircraft received them from the factory and at least one was modified with them. Some of the N7xxJB aircraft recieved the mod but after that they stopped abruptly mainly due to fuel prices being low, which likely made the costs of the mod not worth it. Can someone here tell me--- for international arrivals in PIT, do passengers have to re-enter the secure airside area to get to final baggage claim, or does customs exit directly to the final baggage claim/ground transportation area? Noteworthy Aircraft Activity 6/11 763ER-low J: unscheduled swap from high-J on CDG-BOS-CDG route (N394DL) So this is how they are rotating the low-J B763 that does CDG-PIT-CDG and CDG-IND-CDG? Just replacing a high-J B763 that normally does BOS-CDG and putting a low-J frame on that route. Why not j...Jump to post
I'm sorry that it still looks pretty underexposed besides, the colour looks bit of cyan and also looks slight blurry to me. Hmmm fair enough... thanks Harry. Hi... wondering if these could be pre-screened? I originally placed them in the queue but removed them because I didn't like the exposure on some. There has already been a fair amount of routes swapped...for example the Airbus is doing SEA-LAS and the 737 SFO-LAX. More to come this fall. That’s when painting resumes as well. Somehow your post went above mine? I wan't aware that they already started metal swapping. What other routes...Jump to post
Crete? I am really surprised that they would fly eastbound to get to SIN. Do you have a source for that routing? It does seem that SIN-Andrews could have been done with just the one stop though. No headwinds going eastbound... makes perfect sense for them to go TATL to SIN and TPAC on the way back ...Jump to post
As far as I know, only one A320 had been repainted from VX>AS and that's N625VA. N928VA is the first A321neo in normal AS colors. There hasn't been any metal swapping yet and I don't expect there to be for quite some time. But the ultimate goal according to some here is that the B737 fleet will be u...Jump to post
Lots of hot takes in this thread... I don't expect much of anything other than options being firmed up, some small fill-in orders by certain airlines, and maybe one or two big orders. I imagine the A330neo will get a boost as Airbus claims they have orders that have yet to be announced. Where did th...Jump to post
Only aircraft I've seen at FL410 and above are the B737 NG, 787, and A350. Haven't seen any 747s, 777s, or 757/767s higher than FL390 yet. A320 series aircraft I've only seen as high as FL370. Seems like WN tends to fly their B737s (mainly the -700s) higher than DL, UA, AA, or AS from what I've obse...Jump to post
The Delta CDG flight is handled by Delta staff. The WOW KEF and Condor FRA flights are handled by Trego-Dugan. Those companies are nothing alike and the airport has very little to do with the ground handling aspect of any flight. And there ya go. Hi, I am currently trying to search for PIT-BOS-PIT roundtrips in July on JetBlue's site, but there seems to be a problem. Whenever I type in both cities (yes, I did make sure I spelled each city right), the site will normally autofill the selected city and I can select it for the search box. But ri...Jump to post
NK is suspending PIT-DFW in the Fall. Not sure yet if it’s going seasonal or the cut is permanent (although I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s completely gone).
Seems like NK’s niche from PIT is Florida, MYR, and LAS... all beach/tourist hot spots. Not surprised one bit.

To me, 2x daily mainline flights to IAH was the most surprising. When was the last time that happened, if ever? And it's running from late November to mid-December (for now, anyway), which doesn't make sense timing-wise. I last remember consistent daily mainline to IAH in late 2015. Mix of Airbus, ...Jump to post
Some have already explained it well, but basically what these 75Cs will do is sit at their arrival airport until it is needed for another team in another city.
Since it flew IAD-PHL, it will likely be used by the Brewers and fly PHL-MKE when their series against the Phillies is completed tomorrow.
So basically, EWR stays just about the same (other than the brief 6x weekly period) and IAD is now permanent despite the fluctuating equipment types?
I wonder if AA would add mainline to DCA if UA keeps its mainline flight to IAD or somehow decides to add more.
Why is it that the departing flights to Europe rarely ever depart on-time? I don't get F9. They bail out of PIT after being bought by YX, come out swinging in their return to PIT in 2015, cut half of their routes very quickly, go to seasonal and less than daily to DEN and MCO, upgrade DEN to an A321, and now they are adding SAN while starting MCO earlier. Seems like the A350 platform (particularly the A359) would be a solid contender, despite a shift away from commonality. Closest in size to the B77E and there is the option of the ULR also available. The B777X also isn’t bad, but even the B778X would be a bump in capacity from the current-gen B772. T...Jump to post

This has caused RWY 28C or 28L to become the main departure runways and they seem reluctant to let any exceptions take 28L (I've heard multiple AA and G4 pilots request switching from 28R to 28L but be denied by approach).
