Any idea why we had a Sierra B732 come in from PHL tonight? NCAA tournament charter?
This really reminds me of the Porter flights to YTZ. The airport and the city advertised PD at an absolute minimum until it was discovered that loads weren't good, then the advertising campaign for that flight ramped up. It was too little too late by then. Hopefully QR Cargo doesn't have a similar f...Jump to post

So are these the "new" engines with the modified seal that India is now recalling, or are these older engines that P&W originally placed an advisory on?
This whole situation with the GTF seems like a cluttered mess.
DCA and BOS for me. DCA for the river visual and Natl Mall as well as the inside of the terminal. Also, going on the shuttle buses between terminals offered some amazing up-close views. Unfortunately I haven't flown into DCA since 2009. :( Would like to again some day! Flying over the harbor in and ...Jump to post
The United got rejected again, this time just for OS. Any idea why MSN 1813 is flying over Michigan? Departed from MKE at 1439.
Just had a quick browse at United's timetables and saw they're running a daily A319 on their PIT-IAH route from June 7th until August 20th. And oddly enough, FR24 is showing a B739 scheduled for tomorrow on IAH-PIT (UA378). Wonder if this is a weekend-only thing until June 7th...? SFO seems to be a...Jump to post

Kas, I pulled the original image, went back, and fixed the image. How about this one?

Come to think of it, I believe if a case that involves $75k or more the case must be held in a federal court, which it seems that this case doesn't fall under.
Apologies if this isn't entirely accurate. Just going off of a quick Google search.
Why not just round up to $75k?
Whether this guy somehow wins his case or not, the amount he's suing for is chump change for the size on an airline like Southwest.
This screams "lolsuit"
Thank you Kas and Harry for your imput. Just for the sake of the screener and avoiding a dice roll of an appeal like the Air Canada, I lowered the exposure and sharpening on that photo just barely and re-uploaded while also providing the info on the changes made. I've added this one to the queue but...Jump to post
I'm really digging this livery! It's not everyday you see a giant pelican painted on an airliner.
WN always does an amazing job with these liveries. The amount of detail put into them is admiring, especially on this one.
Is there a possible registration that we know of that's currently at GEG or VCV?Jump to post
It's very likely a state livery. Someone posted a photo of a WN 737 wrapped in brown paper inside of a hangar.Jump to post
Any second opinions of this one?

It's not super cyan and in fact I find it hard to see. What you can do is (if you shoot RAW), to reduce the cyan slider with -20 or so. I agree a little less contrast would be better as well. I can see LH ordering a few A339s to replace the A343s within a few years, as both would seem to be similar in capacity (obviously depending on configuration). DTW has obviously been added with SDF and PHL along with the Christmas-only LCK.
B6 (and US to some extent) ran DL off of BOS-PIT real quick in 2011, although their 3x daily CRJ2s were really no match for the 4x daily E190s with IFE and the still strong Dividend Miles FF base left over from the hub back then. DL however recently re-entered the market with 2x daily CRJ9s and just...Jump to post
I agree with the rejection on N753US for those reasons. 8322X isn't either of those rejections and passable (although a bit marginal) Thank, Kas! I'll fix AA and may appeal the WN.
