Most efficient airports in winter? (Snow)

Haven't seen this topic posted anywhere so I thought I'd ask. What airports excel in snowy conditions due to the combination of airport layout, deicing capability, and just plain efficiency from an ops perspective? For obvious reasons, ATL, DFW, LAX are irrelevant here, this concerns major airports ...

DL is actually "burning cycles" on the remaining B744 as they wind-down scheduled, revenue passenger flights as well as keeping crews active with disproportionately more military and sports charters on the fleet than usual in its final weeks. In past some of these would go the B763, A330,...

Re: Hypothetical: ORD without AA

I agree with most of your post. However, Delta was never destined to be #2 at DFW. Delta's original route was Atlanta-Dallas, and Dallas became a small hub for them in 1961 when they were awarded routes from Dallas to LAS, SAN, LAX, and SFO, with Dallas-Phoenix awarded in 1969. In the late 1970s, D...

There is a key difference though in DL dehubbing at DFW vs AA hypothetically dehubbing ORD. AA premerger was bankrupt. AA postmerger is profitable. I would make the argument that the US leadership has been great for the success of the airline. So were DL and UA.
