Re: Southwest to Europe

I don't think it's even possible because I think it's not the market that Southwest try to fill. I think Southwest will mainly expend in Hawaii + the caribbean and eventually the South America but not Europe because they don,t have any reputation in Europe. Also, I think that airlines like Jetblue h...

How to find data on past flights?

Hi, I have a lot of blank spaces in my flightmemory because I was too young at that time or because I had not a lot of knowledge about aviation at that time. Fort the US flight, I use this website https://www.transtats.bts.gov/ONTIME/Index.aspx but for the flights outside the US (I have a lot becaus...

I'm surprised that Montreal (YUL) - Toronto (YYZ) is not on this top 20.

Re: YYZ Connection Question

1 hour for MCI - YYZ - YHZ is very short because you have to pass the customs at YYZ take your bag at the bagage claim and register it for the next flight. For the return flight, you don't have to do any custom because you do it at MCI at arrival, so you have a lot of time.

Re: Next airline to join Oneworld

Aer Lingus is on the break of joining OneWorld. The other two IAG legacy airlines (British Airways and Iberia) are already in and it's only a matter of time before Aer Lingus will join them. Other than that, OneWorld has always been the least of the three big alliances. SkyTeam and Star Alliance ar...

Re: Visual of largest airlines by state in the USA

For Wisconsin: WN have an hub at MKE, reprensenting 45% of the trafic at this airport. So I think the data are good for this state. For Virginia, IAD is very important in this state For WN having more states than AA, it's because WN have more hub in differents states than American. American has big ...

Re: Airline Simulation Games - Looking for Recommendations

I think the best free airlines game is airlines-empire. The game is very complete, with a lot of airports and differents aircraft in the database, but the game system is not always realistic. And some airlines (like my airlines before!) abuse of the game system to make a lot of money. For example, m...

Re: Boeing may consider restarting 767 pax model production

I think that with the possible 797 + the 787, I think it din't make sense that Boeing also sell Boeing 767. The Boeing 767 is a comfortable aircraft, but this aicraft isn't fuel efficient as the Boeing 787 and the future Boeing 797 will be.

Re: Visual of largest airlines by state

Is it based on: 1: Boardings at each airport, 2: Fights at each airport or 3: where the passengers live that fly to the airport. If it is nunmber 3 WN would be biggest in Kansas. Yes of course we don't on what this is based, but if it's the number one they are some errors and it's probably not the ...

I have a lot of hubs I have flown through but not visited the city: ATL BWI (If you consider Baltimore and Washington as two distinct areas) CLT ORD (I want to visit Chicago but never have the opportunity) ZRH (never visit switzerland but visit Departure airport that I flown several time from it but...

Today at the Boyd conference in LAS SY new CEO said a few things. o 737-800 config to become 180 from current 162 o Will retain 6-seat F class product sans amenities like food. (ala Spirit Big Seat concept I presume) o Will drop 6 737-700 fleet. Look for used 737-800s o Does not plan to be a ULCC c...

I went on WOW website I did a reseach for YUL - KEF on july 2018 and I don't work. I tried with a different airport (BWI) with the same date and it work so I think WOW Air is suspending flights from Montreal.

Re: Is Lakeland, Fl (LAL) any closer to getting commercial service?

LAL is only 45 min. from Disney and from Tampa so the airport is weel located but I don't think DL or AA would be interested by open routes from this airport because they are at MCO and TPA. This airport is made for low cost carrier like Direct Air was. And there is no capacity problem in MCO (they...

Re: B767-300 Seat conf - 2/3/2 or 2/4/2

The 2 - 4 - 2 is defintly worse. The Boeing 767 is not designed to have an 8-abreast. I know this config exist but I'm not able to name any airlines that use this config. But the 30in. 2 - 3 - 2 is used by different airlines. I did an 8 hours flight with this config (2 - 3 - 2 30in.) and it's not th...

Re: Qatar and Royal Air Maroc to Toronto?

Both Qatar and Royal Air Maroc are alredy at YUL. For Qatar Airways, they have some competition in YYZ with Ethiad to Abu Dhabi and El AL to Tel Aviv (I consider that as competition because most people in these airports are connecting to Asia). For RAM, the main market for flights from Canada to Mor...

Re: WN schedule extension 8/28/17

I don't see MKE becoming any kind of WN hub or close to STL/BNA. They only have around 40 daily departures at MKE, right? STL is over 110 in the last update and BNA is over 100. WN has almost unlimited space at STL and keeps adding gates there. BNA keeps growing also (although I know their gate sit...

Southwest will also have room to add additional domestic flights out of LAX after Terminal 1 renovations are completed at LAX.
