CLT concourse A

Just read a story about the construction at CLT. It mentioned that 9 new gates on concourse A would open soon. It also mentioned the airlines moving into the new gates JBL F9 AC UAL SWA NK. I think this will bring A to 22 gates ( 13 old and the 9 new ones). I think Delta uses 3 gates in old section....

I meant on time, dispatch reliability, etc. I should have been clearer. I know JBL. AA and UAL are carrying more paxs now but I do think at the end of next summer DL. will be a solid # 2 at BOS. It’s going to get interesting. I would love to see how the DL folks manage the gate logistics. PHL makes sense for DL from a corporate contracts perspective. Does any one have the PDEW for BUF to SLC ? 56 PDEW, and it's VERY seasonal....usually in the 70s during the summer, and dipping down in the 20s during the winter. I wouldn't expect a BUF-SLC route any time soon - I think CMH is the last major add out east for SLC for a while. Thanks for your reply...

When I look at the Google map of concourse A, it appears that there is perhaps some room to put a couple more jetways ( maybe for RJs only ) in the corner between A and B. Does anyone know when the official announcement about who will be getting the new gates will be,and what the actual shakeout will be for all gates?
Ive read several opinions as to how many gates DL. Will be getting and if they'll be keeping their current 3 .

I use to fly DC 9s for NW. from DTW to HPN and we were always packed in and out of there. I was told that HPN was a very high yield station, I don't believe we hurt traffic out of our other NY stations at all.
Did not like the Departure noise abatement procedure at all though...

I can't be sure but you made think back, it may have been BNA CSV BNA or on to TYS and another BNA SYI back to BNA. I believe we did 2 trips a day to SYI a day turn and an RON. Sorry I had forgotten it was TN. I think it was called Bowman (sp) Field, and I seem to remember CSV was on a mountain top with wicked crosswinds.

I just don't see FRA. It's just not the size of BOS-LON/DUB a seasonal FCO may be in play based on what happens to AZ. I think they would probably send a seasonal 757 to EDI/GLA instead if BOS transatlantic is extended. Also is there a third hub bank in AMS that could be hit with a 10 -11 pm depart...
