Delta should expand in Buffalo at BNIA. Jetblue, southwest, Frontier all have taken the leap of faith with Canadians / current local market and its been working out great! I think the main error is that Airbus didnt forecast the markets correctly ..... - Passengers want direct flights from point to point and no the old wheel and spoke model airbus thought would still work - flight frequency is wanted .... and not less flights with a bigger plane - Still uses too much ...

Yes, we all agree that the 787 can going point to point. I think to be 100% effective you need a small fleet to large fleet of them. Like what United is doing out of San Francisco. Have a 787 hub to link long distance destinations point to point. Going from hub to hub you get the 20% more efficiency...

Why is WN obsessed with owning all the gates at Love? Its not like Love is some giant airport. I get they own 18/20 gates. But if they get 20 / 20 .... why advantage do they really gain? Maybe 20 more flights a day? Would that really be that advantageous?

I dont think a 787 with an airline can be used properly when the airline only has 1 or 2 of them. When the airline just inserts them in old 767 / A330 routes, they dont gain much from that. BA is the one airline I can think of, flying to Nashville, Austin, San Jose, San Diego, and i am sure other me...
