I think B6 or any JV airlines need to be creative ...... they should go with a medium size airport and build a mini hub to fly TATL flights out of. Its not ideal .... but they cant compete with the big boys yet. It would be next to impossible or not very profitable to try that out of JFK or any maj...

By the time the area passengers figure out where F9 goes, what days of the week and the routes starts to catch on and grow, Frontier is already ending it or making it seasonal. Nobody's going to drive from ROC to SYR or BUF just to fly Southwest. People from SYR drive to ROC and ALB all the time to catch WN. If WN moved to SYR it would be a shorter drive for ROC area fliers to drive to either BUF or SYR than for SYR area fliers to have to drive to ALB or ROC/BUF and also ...

I am very worried about the future state of our international flights.... I can easily see Wow going under (or canceling most US destinations) soon, which would leave us with nothing at the moment. Well AA updated the January schedule and the rumor of a mainline turn was true. BOS goes from Envoy to Piedmont. Not all good news though as ORD and PHL lose a flight. CLT 1 A319 2 E175 1CR9 ORD 3 CR7 PHL 4 E145 BOS 3 E145 DCA 3 CRJ Looks like SYR loses a bit of capacity with this release CLT 1 A31...

If it were profitable to do BUF-ALB there would have been somebody on the route already. OneJet had an average of 14 pax on every flight. Maybe if it were a more well known airline you could get one full flight everyday. The only thing that would get BUF-ALB going would probably be a regional doing...
