Rocky V Aeroflot question

So Im watching Rocky V right now. Aeroflot appears at the start on a flight apparently charted by Rocky because only he, Paulie, his wife Adrian and his trainer get off the plane. Interesting weather night last night for March. Several diversions to TUS, and at least 4 into AZA. Looked like they flipped the field at least twice and had departures way backed up 20-30 and pretty full taxiways.
