Sounds like a good airport to operate out of for Allegiant in the future. Allegiant already serves another farout suburb airport in Hagerstown Reguonal Airport which is about 80 miles northwest of DC. Staford in only 40 miles away from Washington, so it might have the potential for more passengers.

The storm is a huge bust so far in the DC region I’m a few miles north of Dulles, and looking out the window, it is really bad right now. I would think they'd still keep some for remote stands. I didn't even realize they still did hardstand arrivals. I thought Saudia and Qatar were using the Z gates?
