DL currently only has 34 active MD90's with 32 in storage, according to the site below. The latest aircraft going to SBD on June 24th. If DL is going to keep flying them until the end of 2022, that's a pretty small fleet type.

LOT would make sense at some point. There used to be some pretty glaring omissions when it comes to Star carriers at IAD, but that's less so the case now. Swiss is a big one, but LOT is certainly another. Obviously UA serve ZRH and GVA through codeshare and JV, but I would love for Swiss to return....

Sounds like a good airport to operate out of for Allegiant in the future. Allegiant already serves another farout suburb airport in Hagerstown Reguonal Airport which is about 80 miles northwest of DC. Staford in only 40 miles away from Washington, so it might have the potential for more passengers.

Yes, I'd like to see JFK, HVN, SWF, PHF, LYH, TOL, PIR, and ACY added to UA's east coast network. Won't all happen though! PHF is hoping for new flights with UA to IAD. The airport claims that 1,000 passengers “bleed away” to other airports. I dont’t know If LYH and PHF are saying they want flights...

I wonder if in retrospect the decisions for so many to divert to the DC area are being regretted, because the line was blasting south and absolutely nailed that area, as we can see from that pic of hail above. So they just got delayed there for more hours, and looks like many crews timed out. Also ...
