Long haul is a whole different kettle of fish, though, Long-haul isn't new to them. They have flown to New York, and IIRC, Boston and Toronto. Side note, ever since VS has been part owned by DL they've been doing a large number of US sport charters. http://thevssource.com/ is a great resource for seeing the many Virgin have been doing as of late!

The 757s are on their way out too since they are moving to an all Airbus fleet. Perhaps Jet2 will take them since they are expanding and used 738's are getting scare due to the MAX grounding ?
