The shake out begins. One of the 2 carriers will be gone from Cle in the next. 14 months. The Norwegian fire sale also begins this fall with massive aircraft sales.
Over expansion was the death of carriers beginning with Peoples Express and Braniff and continues today.

Looking from October thru January and cannot find any SW connections thru MKE in either direction.(to Sea) Must be schedule change.

United ran these last year also. They also have added flights from IAD and BOS in addition to mainline from EWR to Madison.

3 Cleveland runways closed

What is the situation in Cleveland this week. Hopkins has has run 25L closed all week. This is along with runway 28 closed all summer. The runway at Burke has been closed all weekend. One runway open total at both airports. Anyone know what is going on?

The airbuses are just fine. New carpets, and seats. Really like the new first class seats. I could care less about the decor in the bathroom.
To be honest have over 140 segments on United this year alone and cannot remember the decor in any aircraft lavatory and have used one on most flights.

This was prior to the second deck being built. The second deck was done After the c concourse was done.
At the same time the north concourse had gates 21,23,25,27 United. 20 lake central,22 Allegheny 24 Mohawk/northwest northwest 26
American 27,28,29,30 it only had one deck also. Year 1968

Yes customs was in the b concourse when it was called the west concourse prior to the building of concourse c.
The line up of airlines was. United gates 2,4,6,8. Twa gate 1. Eastern Gates 3,5,7 air canada gate 9 the customs gate

The Cle -Chs route has along with several other system wide non-daily summer seasonal routes rarely have been listed for sale until mid-March schedule.
Expect more this year rather than less. Working on details at present. You have seen many in the past 30 days.

Burke can take commercial flights. (Tag, Wright, Midway) have all had flights from Burke but all failed. Wright and Midway moved to Hopkins. Hopkins
is just fine with easy access from downtown by Train and freeway of 25 min or less better than most downtowns in the US.
