Re: What do you think will be the next intercontinental Lufthansa destinations in Munich?

In addition to already mentioned routes, I think these routes could be good options: Munich - Kuala Lumpur . At the moment, there are no flights between Germany and Kuala Lumpur and unless I'm wrong, Lufthansa served KUL from FRA a few years ago. As of 6 Nov 2018, Condor will be operating between F...

Re: What do you think will be the next intercontinental Lufthansa destinations in Munich?

I had no idea that they were planning on operating the A380 out of MUC. I knew they transferred some A346s to MUC from FRA a while back. Will MUC see year round service with the A380 to certain destinations or will all the A380 destinations be either Summer or Winter seasonal? What FRA A380 destina...

Re: What do you think will be the next intercontinental Lufthansa destinations in Munich?

LH already operates 748 on FRA-BLR daily and doing well, why will they start or add MUC-BLR?? There may be a bilateral issue if im not wrong The economy in India is growing strongly and rapidly, since FRA has very high load factors, if the demand continues to grow it is time to increase the service...

Don't they already operate this route with an A346?

During the winter season 2018/2019 the MUC-SFO route will be operated by the Airbus A380

Re: An impressive growth of Eurowings (Lufthansa subsidiary) in 2017

Any idea how the recently launched weekly CGN-CPT route is performing...any chance for increase in frequency for the next season or from another point as well (DUS?) With Austrian also starting CPT later in the year the LH group will be serving CPT with 4 carriers from 5 airports. Just Brussels Air...

Upcoming operators of Airbus A350-1000XWB

Lufthansa Lufthansa is a great customer of Airbus, and I believe that this model can not be lacking in its fleet, it is ideal for Munich operations to its high density destinations in North America and Asia, destinations such as Newark, Washington, Chicago, Shanghai, Hong Kong , Tokyo-Haneda, Seoul ...

Re: Upcoming Boeing 777X operators

The second daily LHR flight back to the B77W Not sure what you're saying here, TG916 is still being operated by A359. Regarding BA's fleet - you need to read what BA says about it in their own reports. They have their "real jumbo", it's the A380. Since February 1 TG916 returns the B77W to...

Re: Upcoming Boeing 777X operators

I think Thai Airways needs Boeing 777-9X, there are high demand destinations like Munich, Zurich and Scandinavia where capacity is needed High demand yes, but low (borderline very low) yield. That's why their second LHR flight is now operated by A359 - less seats and significantly lower operating c...

Re: Upcoming Boeing 777X operators

KLM can replace its B77E with B77W, thus giving space to the Boeing 777-9x for its high density missions of Southeast Asia such as Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore among others, could opt for the B777-8X version for direct flights toDenpasar & Jakarta and even direct flights to Australi...

Re: Upcoming Boeing 777X operators

Korean Air, Eva Airways and Qantas, why not. Air France - KLM, not impossible, but unlikely if more A350 comes along before. British Airways, United Airlines and Thai Airways, not a chance. They are gone to 787/A350. I think Thai Airways needs Boeing 777-9X, there are high demand destinations like ...

Re: Upcoming Boeing 777X operators

What will be the next airlines to order the new Boeing 777x? I see great potential in Air France - KLM, British Airways, United Airlines, Korean Air, Eva Airways & Thai Airways Quite a few have relatively new 77W fleets, BA, KLM, UA. I personally think the 777X is a bit ahead of it's time. Boei...

Re: what is the use of wide-body aircraft of KLM?

Not all KLM routes are daily. Thats why they dont need an aircraft for every route. but for the most part they are long-range routes and at least they need two planes per route, their Boeing 777-200ER serves Tokyo daily, the Quito-Guayaquil sector is daily, Osaka daily, Beijing daily, other variabl...
