If anyone knows of derelict B721s out there, feel free to share. Curious as to where the in tact, but non-airworthy frames are.
Seems most of the ex-UPS B721 ended up in ROW, all long gone by now. There is a single one left at KROW but I can't discern the registration.

Because that airplane does not exist yet, and the fuel inerting modification on the 747-400 fleet was not done (this was a factor in the whale's retirement). Thus, the 77W fit the bill.

I'm old enough to remember when there was a transatlantic announcement to ORF from Kent on Monarch. Equipment was scheduled as A300, but unfortunately the flights never actually launched.

It wasn't a BBJ that just flew into ASE (which would imply it was a NG), rather a 737-500 converted into a business jet. These were never marketed as "BBJ". The -500s wingspan is apparently 3 inches shy of the limit for ASE, meaning any NG (even one without winglets) would not work there.
