The TSA (like ICE) needs to be gutted from the inside out. The entire security theater apparatus was a gross over-reaction to 9/11 and the thirst to "feel safe" everywhere we go. They could have just banned box cutters in planes and installed the flight deck door upgrades and left it at th...Jump to post
Southwest is usually the cheaper option after you add in fees for bags, etc. I fly WN almost exclusively including business. They have the best *domestic* FF program out there, in my opinion.Jump to post
Kenya Airways had the 767-400ER on order but converted the order to 777.
Delta had over 100 MD-90 on order at one point, but only took 12 iirc from the factory.
I believe Delta's 10 77L were originally orders for additional 777-200ER, but they were converted to 77L.
Air Europe ordered the MD-11.

Delta actually flew ANC-NRT fairly recently with the 757. They were positioning flights sold the the public. Surely any Asia links to Alaska would be via Tokyo or somewhere like PEK.Jump to post
For many years Icelandair only operated a single example of this type, TF-FIX. Recently they acquired an ex-Arkia example, TF-ISX. Unfortunately it wasn't painted into the latest color scheme that is seen the 737Max. I suspect Iclandair will eventually end up with three of the type, as Arkia is now ...Jump to post
Yet all Democrats and Liberals do is virtue signaling which helps no one. It just makes them feel good about themselves and more importantly, superior. Weird. I wouldn't be married to my husband nor allowed to serve in the military openly were it not for those so-called "virtue signals", ...Jump to post

I believe FI actually did have the 737NG on order and even took delivery of some, but they immediately leased them onto other carriers. For a while (not sure if they still do this) but they had an aircraft holding business called Flugleidir Icelandair Group. Delta did something similar with many of ...Jump to post
