They're not used heavily per se, but do fly to popular ex-HKG tourism ports like NRT/KIX/BKK/ICN/TPE/CTS along with heavily patronized route like PVG.

No surprises anyway.

They're not really using A330 on that many routes even now. Talking about 5w to FRA, 5w to KUL, 2w to KHI, 4w to ZRH, 4w to HKT, and the daily flight to DXB and SVO, plus occasional substitution on one of their BOM flight. Doubt they're using all 10 as-is.

I dont see any Taiwan carrier needing a 779, not with Starlux in the picture. Pre covid, BR had far more RPKs than CI running those 77Ws across pacific etc to more destinations and more frequencies, yet their revenue from pax was not proportionately that much greater and with CIs huge cargo revenue...

Every other US gateway with multiple daily flights on AA/JL, splits the flights between HND and NRT, which is a vital necessity given JAL's split-hub operations even more so than for ANA.
