Awesome report. Unfortunately G-BNLD is rotting away in California's Victorville and has seen better days. Also that those times are gone and now you can do the hop in way less time, especially with QF's new Kangaroo route.

I was SFO not too long ago and had some similar sights, especially the NZ and QF birds. Was the cabin different, as I've heard AS has sort of "bland-ified" the cabins?

Go for SQ and make sure on that flight you get up often to do the usual and stretch your legs. Important no matter the length of the flight

It's a silly thought, but since there is Pre-Clearance in YVR which is pretty darn close to BOI, I could see a feasible flight there maybe soon (not daily but maybe a once a week?), run a regional and be fine?

Of course another excuse to try QR! I've survived 12 hours on 9 abreast, and to be honest width makes no difference since I am skinny, but well I guess QR still puts a quality product in. Also that presentation is rarely seen, even in Premium Economy

Don't expect too much when eating on a plane, and doing so makes the food a lot better. I've noticed in the past couple of years that the food quality has improved a lot thanks to competitions, and so yeah, BA might need to up its own game.

Awesome of course. A thing a bit nit-picky is the vertical photos, as in these TRs you should have them landscape. Second, the usual thing to do about commenting is that you should comment after you hit enter on the line. Liked the report and still haven't flown Southwest yet

I do see the catering of OS as really good, especially that coffee! Yeah UA operates 777s domestically in a different config, just as in Asia where Longhauls very often do domestics/short-hauls
