Re: POLL QUESTION: Should airlines offer more connecting time at hubs?

I fly Delta mostly, though not recently. When I did, I purposely would pick longer times at the airport (ATL) between legs. Beyond the resturants and whatnot, I was able to do work which relied on a stable, fast, internet connection on travel days. That's just me as I chalk up travel days as a wash ...

Culture of navigating airports today (2022)

Greetings everyone, I'm preparing for a short trip this March (EWR>ATL>JAX) on Delta with the same itinerary on the return flight). I haven't flown since February 2020 thanks to work and the pandemic. I used to fly 80k miles a year domestic and know all airports and their lounges/resturants/etc very...

SFO>CLT American Airlines - Legacy USAirways Birds?

Good day all, I have travel coming up in September from SFO>CLT on AA1960, which is showing that it’s an A321 and back on AA2061 from CLT>SFO, same thing---A321.Both of which are NOT showing up as a 321B, so is it safe to say this is a legacy US Airways birds that is not retrofitted with the new cab...

Re: Do you think airline company management post here for ideas?

No doubt there are some airline management people read these boards and make their posts but your not going to get Willie Walsh sending you an email saying, "that's a great idea, mind if I nick it?" :D For sure. I remember some time ago there was a CEO (I forget the company) that took to ...

Re: Do you think airline company management post here for ideas?

Most of them likely have access to market data and research that can help them make much more informed decisions than all the armchair CEOs in these forums. Figured as much. I know a lot of what is said on here could be pretty far fetched. Just more of the "throw things at the wall and eventua...

Do you think airline company management post here for ideas?

Just a random thought that I had. After seeing so many 'What's next for (Insert airport, airline, airframe, specific program)' in which we are essentially opening it up for discussion between thousands of different minds and opinions, often those that are the "boots on the ground" in the i...

It will more than likely cost the airlines a little bit of money to re-label things but nothing earth shattering.

SFO

DL straight shot to MIA and vise versa would be nice to have, if even once a day.

Re: Airlines in need of a livery update?

I'd have to disagree with Delta. Big fan of theirs, ESP the tail and the new A350 wing tips! I saw someone put on with the DETLA billboard style on the fuselage on another post, that looked great. It keeps the classy, corporate look. Professional. I also love the new Delta belly they have been addin...

Work 6PM to 6AM, any night shifters?

Hey all, I tried resurrecting a 10 year old thread based off of it popping up in a Google search when asking this same question, but it was locked---so I’ll re-ask. I currently work 6PM to 6AM, on two days, off two days----and I can’t stand my off days. I keep the sleep schedule (IE I fall asleep an...

Re: Shortest flight with meal service

Though this was back in 2008, I had a 40-50 minute flight from BAH to KWI on Gulf Air, Reason this still sticks out to this day was that they managed to serve a actual hot meal to everyone onboard. Pretty sure it was an A320-- it was impressive.
