Sure, Mahan Air still fly their ex-UTA 747-300s I’m easily bookable daily flights THR-MHD and maybe IKA-DXB. Plus you get to visit Iran, lovely country, and maybe flag down an Iran Aseman 727-200, and an Iran Air (or Mahan) A300, another last-chance-to-fly. Hahahaha What's the joke here? No joke as...

ANA has had issues, BA too. Also Air New Zealand. It’s mainly on earlier builds and some airlines are replacing engines others fixing. As for LATAM, I wouldn’t worry about it. They won’t fly you on one with a broken engine!

Thankfully Airbus doesn't make aircraft which gives airline such a choice else they would be stuffy and cramped as well, like their Boeing counterparts. To those mentioning the CS100 could do it without stopping, so could the A318 range wise in their light configuration. The reason it can’t is the A318 at MTOW needs more runway than LCY has and thus needs a fuel stop.

The plug is actually a door. It just is bolted shut and the sidewall panel covers it up. During a 'C' check the panel is removed and the door is opened to inspect the area.
