Re: Manchester (UK) Aviation - 2023

Have the liquid restrictions been dropped in Manchester security yet? If not then is there any idea when they will be?

Re: Irish 4/22: Queues, delays and more delays

Not sure it follows that they'll have 186 seats just because Ryanair have 197 now. Ryanair has had 189 seats in the NG for years and but EI stuck to 174 when they could have gone to 180 if they wanted to. I reckon the NEO will have 180.

Was almost caught out in MAN the other night. Didn't realise Ryanair are now essentially back operating from T3 but using check in /security in T1. What other airlines are doing that? It's a brisk walk if you're expecting a T1 gate and assuming you've plenty of time!

Does anyone have any idea what is happening to EI-DEC? The aircraft was repainted into the new Aer Lingus livery several months ago however the Aer Lingus titles have yet to be added to the aircraft. Is it possible that this aircraft will be joining EI-DEA and EI-DEB across the Atlantic with Allegi...

Lufthansa just retired theirs. With Revell being German, I'd place my bets on a Lufthansa livery more than BA.

To be honest, any livery at all would do for me!

Is there any hope of revell re-releasing the BA 744 kit but in 1997 livery to mark their retirement?

Revell Ryanair 1:144 kit paint question

Hi. I've had this Ryanair kit for a while and am finally getting around to it but was wondering about the blue. The guide recommends a mix of 95% enamel blue and 5% enamel white but I'd prefer to use a spray. Is Humbrol midnight blue close to Ryanair blue? Or has anyone any other recommendations? Th...

Sometimes I am not sure I follow the logic when the Ryanair bashing starts! I did not get free water, or meals at work, mot even discount! And I'm still not sure why DFW would be 'related to beer' unless they are referring to the Honky-Tonks and drunks on mechanical bulls. More false stereotypes. We have over 40 local breweries and growing. We don't wear cowboy hats and we don't drive cars with longhorns on the front. Fair enough but ...

Re: Ryanair plans more aggressive expansion as profit edges up

I know that Ryanair is ordering the 737 MAX 200, but why did they never consider the Boeing 737-900ER for their busiest routes in a Y213 configuration, considering that Ryanair's planes operate out of specific bases? I think the ER in the name would suggest why they aren't using that plane. That, a...

That second article just seems to be a hatchet job on Allegiant. Surely keeping the interior of the aircraft as close to that of their existing fleet can't be a bad thing. The author praises EZ for doing it and then criticizes Allegiant for doing the same thing!
