While I don't disagree with your premise, one point of clarification. OPO and Portugal as a whole, is on the Atlantic, not the Mediterranean. And that is a huge difference because the bottom half of Portugal has a climate that resembles that of Southern California. Their Winters are wonderfully war...

When we are going to have a substitute for Concorde??? A plane that have the capacity of the a380 or b787-8/a350-900 and be accesible to everyone???
For example LHR-JFK now it takes about 7 hours to a normal plane do it, with the new concorde can do it in just 2 hours.

Strange OPO not being in this list. There are a lot of cheinese and asian people in Porto or Northern Portugal, so a flight OPO-PEK (like Beijing Capital does in LIS) perhaps can have a lot of sucess.
