Re: Is LEVEL replacing Vueling?

Walsh confirmed earlier today in Paris that BCN will get its 4th A330-200 in 2019, so it all looks like IAG is taking some distance from Norwegian and any possible acquisition. Instead, IAG seems to be very interested in make LEVEL shine both short and long haul. We'll see how it all goes, cause as...

Re: Delta CEO says don’t overbuild “797”; skeptical on hypersonic airliner

Well, it's been said many times here already, people put price ahead of time. To make more profit, target the bigger crowd and charge the max they are willing to pay. And a few, but enough people will pay a lot more to save as much time as possible That’s why Concorde was invaluable to BA and the p...

No, no, the A321 Plus Plus has been shelved, somebody said so only a month ago. :wink2: The discussion on new wing designs and when they might see the light of day appears to have missed a point. If the existing A320 wing manufacturing capacity is being operated flat out, there is a need for more w...

Can anyone confirm the seating configuration in economy? I would expect it to be 3-3-3 since Iberia is a legacy carrier, but I keep hearing rumours of it being 3-4-3. I can't find any seatmaps that show the economy cabin, though One Mile At A Time has an article which shows a seatmap for Business a...

Smart move, but I thought Airbus stated it has this "small" market covered with the A321 on the bottom and A330 on top? small market can become huge if the economics of the "new plane" will be good. AB should go for a rewinged a321/2 from below and a new a300 from above but it h...

The global airline market is 4 times bigger now than when the A310 launched. The 250-350 seat max economy market was also highly contested with multiple aircraft. The 752, 753, A310, 762, 763 A300 and 763ER were all evenly spaced. For the A310 to sell 255 aircraft is brilliant. If an A310NEO was on...
