When BA adds DTW, ORD will be gutted as it lives on DTW, CLE, CVG, CMH, IND, STL, MCI, DSM, MSP, and MKE leakage, but 90% from DTW! At best ORD-LHR is a BA 757 route, less than daily.

Portugal is heavily NE US centric. DL will use the ATL mega-hub for seasonal service. TP to California and ORD (Star hub) could work.

The entitled to BA LHR service from the States has now expanded to CDG! I'm sure FRA, AMS, and seasonal to FCO is mandatory for any airport with a 9,000' runway, and more than 5M boarding per year.

BA 193 747-400 LHR-DFW has diverted to MEM That seems very odd. No offense to the D's (DFW & DTW), LH will not be starting flights from your airport to MUC.

DTW: DL does it seasonally, and not a * hub.

I believe it is because UA flies IAH-PTY that CM is not on the route. UA keeps IAH as the Latin America hub and lets Copa bear the risk for other hubs.

There will be no International flights at DAL due to the Wright (Wrong) Amendment agreement.

LH has been at DFW since the early 80's. They've developed a loyal following, and many transplants to DFW come from areas where LH is strong (ORD, LAX, NYC, etc.).

EK seems to be the odd man out, and they were the first in and brought in the whale. Just goes to show how EY and QR ties to AA help.

No kidding. Look at the holidays and spring break. WN runs multiple daily from MDW, AA is 3 or 4 times a day, and UA goes crazy on Saturday's (seen up to 7 in peak season). Even on weekdays UA is 3 daily.

JFK and ORD (non stop) make sense with AA connections. Heck, ORD was announced on MEL-LAX-ORD but dropped with SARS.

DFW and ORD actually make sense. This would not impact the no code share on same market and opens up pleanty of connections that AS can't offer east of DFW and ORD.

LAX, SFO, PDX are a given.
