They could make one when they are ready to kill the 747-8f and/or the 767.

Being a Boeing/747 guy myself, it’s still sad to see the A380 program end, although I knew it was only a matter of time. I didn’t think they would’ve kept the lines open for another decade.

The freight market. The freight market is growing and there are demands for more freighters. There is also a rebounded interest in used 744's.

That's so true. No one wants it. They tried making a freighter version but it didn't work for whatever reason regarding engines. The 747-8 is much more economical when it comes to freight hence Boeing is dominating the freight market right now. Since this is new info please enlighten us what was it...

I think you guys better go back and check again. The MOM has been proposed in 2 versions; one a NB and the other a WB. Why do you think SW is also trying to be the launch customer? Southwest killed the 757 remember. One of the reasons they didn't want the 757 was because of the responsibilities of ...

Nooooooooooooo! Only Air Transat and maybe one of the Iranian airlines are left with the A310. I love both the 767 and 310, smaller wide bodies are amazing. I really wish that we will see an aircraft like the 310 and 767 come out soon, but I doubt it. The 797 will probably be a smaller widebody air...

Why United Airlines needs to up the ante regarding ratings

As I know people who work for United, it makes me sad to see this historic airline not being what it used to be. UA employees seem to sometimes mention how it was before the merger, and how the flight attendants and other workers were nicer and friendlier than the continental ones. I'm not trying to...

Question is which will sell more; capacity or range? The past has shown that capacity wins since the CASM is better due to similar operating costs, although this wasn’t the case with the 752/753. I honestly don't know. The planes were probably super cheap and they are somehow efficient or work for them, like how the A380 and the 747-8 work for Lufthansa. That or they are filled up on shorter routes. Maybe both.

I would imagine eventually they would order the MAX 10 to replace some of their 757's, that being said, they could also have ordered the A321neo. (and they still could). I ask this because I know that a lot of former Continental people seem to make the big decisions up at a corporate level.
