How much of the "issue" is fleet related? Aren't a lot of today's deliveries taking over for M80 & 767 retirements? If they had excess or growth fleet entering, then they could pursue opportunities in BOS/JFK if those were the next best options.

One other piece that probably helps ATL-STR is that the acquisition of PanAm's TATL gave DL a large FF base, especially in Germany. So, they had an instant audience. It's not the biggest or most important factor but definitely helps.
