With little feed, and a AA hub, DL just asking to get their a$$ kicked on this one. There really isn't much that AA can kick DL's a$$ in. While AA might have finally, after years of neglect, caught up to the benchmark of business class flying and having flat bed seats across their international fle...

Re: Delta to axe NRT-GUM

No question UA has taken over the Pacific and left both DL and AA on the taxiway. The issue then becomes NW and PA were clearly the two dominant carriers in the Pacific, but under DL that has fallen behind. On a separate note, I wouldn't say that DL has lost to Ferris, instead AA lost to him without...

If any country interests conflict with the US, including aviation, then they are certainly within their rights to hold up or cancel sales of aircraft. It has happened with a number of countries including Iran with the fall of the Shah and the F-14's held for 35 years.

AA is NOT going to order the 777-9; it is way too big for them. Historically they have shied away from the big planes; that is why they only had 747s for such a short period. They were unable to fill them with passengers and got rid of them opting for DC-10s, MD-11s, and 777s. Their route structure ...
