There are only 5 planes in their entire fleet; 4 if you take out the 1 WB that goes on shopping spree's. Someone wants to do a LCC there? In my view, it would only work if it was in conjunction with surrounding countries. Either that or go in empty and leave full.

I stand corrected. According to airfleets.net, AA - 950, DL - 857, UA - 750. So 200 on AA and 102 on DL

Oh, I wouldn't be putting any money on B6 in Las Vegas. They are getting squeezed right now from the big 3, the LCC's, and the ultra LCC's. Its either get swallowed or go bye bye. Anyone who thinks they will make it on their own is terribly mistaken.

Title and facts are misleading to say the least. The number of 380 operators is small and couple of airlines account for large bulk of the 380s flying. So I wouldn't gloat that more 380s are flying, take those airlines out and its, "what is a 380?"

They may only be 16 years old, but the design and technology are from the 80's; not exactly a modern ship. You know, with all the money DL has made they need to get rid of these dinosaur's they have been flying. Quit being so cheap to fly planes designed before your crews were born.

My understanding is Airbus is not putting any money into the project and getting 50% share which eventually may go as high as 70%, And that up to $500M in debt will be borne by partner. Sounds like a fire sale to me.

Didn't blame Harvey for anything or imply it was responsible for anything. Just pointed out that it DID impact the numbers; estimates being the loss for the 3-4 shutdown days was in excess of $300M per analysts.

Don't forget there was a little thing called 'hurricane' that shut down 2nd largest hub, and even though it was back up in couple of days, effects still being felt. That will decrease your revenue very quickly.

This isn't even a good try for the Airbus BB's to try and create a link or conspiricy back to Boeing. Manufactures provide some sort of financing all the time to get the sale. Airbus has admitted they paid bribes to get sales, not so here. Move on and close this thread.
