I guess if AA had a plane sitting around all day with no place to fly it to, naw even then it would be a terrible idea. Its a UA hub-hub and if some one in strategic planning recommended it it would be a short employment. No way you could make money in that market.

2019? I guess some tour operator will pick a couple up on the cheap from lease return, make them cattle car coach seats and try and fly 800 people to the islands. Because we all know, and some don't want to admit, this is a niche plane for a couple of players and its time has long passed.
