Except price. The deal that NW got on its order won't be repeated at this stage and I am positive if they tried to get that price, Boeing with such a huge back order would tell them to go pound sand. Not going to happen.

At that same conference it was reported that UA said the MOM will be here in 9-10 years and that UA expects to add it to their fleet. They also said that Boeing will make a firm decision on it possibly by late '18, and that UA is holding off at replacement of the 757/767 until then. So sounds to me ...

I was talking to a co pilot and he said they were always pushing the envelope with the 757-300 to see how far they could send it. It was part of their strategy since they did not have a lot of WB planes and would have to use NB equipment on a particular route.

Uh, the guys up front learn on 152s and 172s. They may complain because it doesn't have a few extra bells and whistles, but I have not seen any of them sending their paychecks back because its an issue.
