So that means no more codeshare with other airlines?Jump to post

Looks like EK is throwing its entire 77L fleet at South America, probably in lieu of reducing frequencies even further. It's hard when big markets suddenly get thinner, and your crosstown competition has an army of 789s to serve them... Not really, except for GRU which will continue on the A380. 77...Jump to post
Here is another report in South America changes. From June 1: * SCL will operate via GIG instead of GRU * GRU goes from 12x w to 7x w A380 * EZE goes from 7x w to 4x w downgauged from the 77W to 77L * GIG will see the same # of frequencies BUT will feature onward flights to EZE 4x and to SCL 3x, dow...Jump to post

Avianca Brazil's fleet is down to 6 NEOs.
Plus as I saw in Flyertalk today. Here are more info in addition to up there: From 15 January, EK384/385 on DXB-BKK-HKG will be operated by the 777 instead of an A380 with EK352/353 on DXB-SIN gets upgraded to an A380 from the Boeing 777 at the same time. Also EK778/EK779 on DXB-CPT being cancelled ...Jump to post
There must a question for QF's A380. They have been postponed for many times (according to Wikipedia) and they are still postponed until further notice. Very strange that a long time order but now still deferred should already been cancelled or converted to options.Jump to post

Where will that A330 go? Will it be used for one of the new routes? Or are we about to see yet another route announcement from IG? I think their A330's should have been replaced by the 787's soon. I'm not sure which is the 787 variant, maybe 787-9? According to Wikipedia (not a reliable source, I k...Jump to post

I had this problem years ago. I could not access the WN site from Tijuana, Baja California. The access was being blocked by the local provider Infinitum. The WHY was never answered but a company tec unblocked access. You know what DesertAir, I think WN website can only be accessed in USA only. Even...Jump to post
Routesonline reports that Air Italy is removing BKK from end of March but will continue to serve BKK through it's partner Qatar Airways. Any possible reason why they are terminating BKK from network? To me, it looks like lower demand is the possible way they cannot manage to continue flying to/from ...Jump to post

After QR stake as mention on previous thread, I wonder if EK will have a codeshare with CZ soon. Because EK has no partner in China yet and QR just started with CZ and EY does with MU. Plus, What about it’s partnership with its ST members including MU and MF, when will it concluded?Jump to post

Hey guys, How long until Qatari eyes turn towards Australia....?!?! I've heard speculation for a couple of years that the Qataris would love a piece of the Aussie airline scene. WIth this result of QR and CZ, will EK be able to codeshare with CZ as well in the near the future? For EY, they just have a codeshare with MU already just announced earlier this month or last month. Now CZ and QR is probably about to start codeshare and EK does not have any partners from China behi...Jump to post

As of end of November 2018, there are 53 A319neo in the backlog, out of about 6,000 orders for the whole A320neo family. Hi all....with BA now having retired their 767's, and the incoming A321NEO's not having the seat capacity of the 763's they are replacing, I'm wondering if BA should reconfigure a few 788's to operate those routes the 763's were mostly used for. ANA uses the 788's successfully on main domestic and ...Jump to post
