Does anyone know where you can find information on the airline market share at BNA? I cannot seem to find it on the website. This shows only the top 5, with other stuff. I don not place much emphasis on Wikipedia, but it's all I could find. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nashville_International_Airp...

I want to assume DTW and CLE aren’t doing well for WW, or are typical and average as opposed to strong. I can think the reason why CLE might not be strong is because travelers are finding FI a better deal. As for DTW, this is the only European ULCC and there should be no excuse as to why this route...

I think the thing we commonly overlook is the tourist factor here. When comparing BNA and RDU, there's really no comparison. RDU doesn't have the tourist factor that helps fill seats that aren't generally sold to business folks. On an aside, the convention market here is huge. It's a national conve...

Re: WN announces intention to open LAX crew base in Q4 2018

This, to me, is the most logical answer. It’s all about costs and the ability to find decent crew accommodations. Hawaii flying could be supported by any base they already have. Someone mentioned stationing ETOPS pilots at LAX. I certainly can’t speak for how southwest intends on operating, but Ala...

Re: WN announces intention to open LAX crew base in Q4 2018

Goes right in line with their Hawaii timeline. Why would one thing have to do with another? They already have an OAK base, and a PHX base, both which would be fully capable of staffing Hawaii flying easily enough. At that, any of their bases could easily staff Hawaii flying. An LAX base isn't a pre...
