Re: Future of Shanghai Airports

What I would rather like them to do is to try to make Pudong more attractive for it to compete better with Hongqiao in the eyes of the public (expanding the Maglev line to the west bank? building freight lines that go directly to the logistics zone through the port?). My thoughts exactly, the magle...

Re: Australian Aviation Thread - July 2018

I am surprised that Qatar are flying the A380 here ... Me too - for 1x A380, they could've done 2x 788's or 2 332's instead, and offered a superior schedule. PER doesn't strike me as having sufficient i) premium demand (like SYD) or ii) bulk masses demand (like BKK) to warrant the 388 from QR. Perh...

I think it's more of a case of being able to generate more profit from other routes. VS is doing the best it can with the little it has. I hope they can secure a few slots with the new runway so they can start expanding again.

Minor news but seems like flight numbers for KE have changed starting today.

KE 902 CDG-ICN became KE 910
KE 901 ICN-CDG became KE 909
KE 5902 CDG-ICN became KE 5910 (AF codeshare)
KE 5901 ICN-CDG became KE 5909 (AF codeshare).

Could this mean KE is planning new service to Europe ?
